Millions of tons of waste are produced everyday. In the fashion industry, in my opinion, ‘Trend’ can be seen as a cause of manufacturing waste – In a guest for ‘newness’ it people go and buy the ‘new look’ of the season and their old clothes are left in their wardrobes never to be seen or worn again.
This project presents a series of ideas about ‘recycling’ as an over archiving concept. It seek to challenge the way people think about waste and if it manages to change people’s behaviour, then this surely can be only be a good thing.
